# Using MatterCenter

Once a user is signed in the *DMS Portal*of MatterCenter will open. The Portal consists of Matters a user is subscribed to, called **My Matters (1)** and an overview of **All Matters (2)**.

To *search* for a specific matter within either **My matters** or **All matters** users can click on one of them **(1)**, select the search bar **(2)** and type in one or more keywords, matternumber, or (a part of) the name of the matter.

A suggestion based on the input will immediately appear underneath the search bar.
