# Create a new client in MatterCenter

Within MatterCenter users can create both matters and users. To create a new client, follow these steps:

1. Click the **hamburger menu** next to the DMSforLegal title.

2. Click the button**Actions**. A new screen for both matter creation and user creation will open.

1. Users can easily **Create a** **new client**by giving the client a **Title** and/or attaching a file to the client including additional information about the client.

1. Click **Save**. A new client is created.
