# Working with files in MatterCenter

To open a file in one of the folders users simply click on the file name and the corresponding Online Office 365 App will automatically be opened.

When users want to work offline within the opened file there is the option to **Open in Desktop App**. The corresponding app installed to the user’s PC will be opened. After finishing with and saving the file it will be automatically synchronized with the online environment.
