Janković Popović Mitić (JPM) has chosen Epona Legal’s DMSforLegal as their new Office 365 based Document Management System. The new DMS will help JPM manage their matters more efficiently and access them from any place, at any time, from any device.
JPM considered moving to Office 365 for a long time. When the Corona virus hit, the legal practice needed to accelerate its transformation to the cloud-based Office 365 platform. Nemanja Stepanović, Managing Director at JPM: “Our old DMS was also SharePoint based, but getting very hard to manage and up to date. The old system didn’t allow us to easily access matters and other information, so a new was needed to meet our needs. When looking for a replacement for our old DMS we considered multiple systems but, in the end, DMSforLegal provided us with the best fitting solution.”
EXCELLENT INTERFACE, MANAGEMENT AND ADOPTABILITY
According to Stepanović, DMSforLegal excelled in its intuitive and good user interface, ease of management and quick adoptability by the users. “I’ve been following Epona Legal for years and quickly noticed that when it came to SharePoint based Document Management Systems, they were the ones to talk to. When we came to talking, I quickly realised that we were in the right place. The early talks with the Epona consultants gave us the trust to move our matters to DMSforLegal.”
DMSforLegal gives JPM the most complete feature package with the least complexity. Stepanović continues: “The system allows us to develop and automate our practice with greater speed. We can now access our matters safely from any location (in part to the Office 365 cloud based architecture) and have the ability to create a unified systems. Our next step is to integrate the DMS with i.e. our CRM and billing systems so we can automate a lot of manual work. Also, things like the automatic time registration while working on e-mails, documents or other matter related information in the DMS allows us to monitor our efficiency even better. We do a lot of work based on a fixed fee, so keeping track of the hours spent allows us to price our future services even better.
THE NEXT STEP
When asked about their “Next Step”, Stepanović needn’t think long: “The integrations with our CRM and billing systems is a very important step that we hope to take in a short term. After that, we’ll probably be looking at automatic document assembly. I believe that this will allow us to provide our services even more efficiently.”
